About the reconstruction project of Marine Fuel Terminal "Turukhtannye Islands" (the Terminal)
Project targets
· The Terminal annual throughput to reach more than 2 million tonnes.
· The Terminal three berths to have a total length of over 450 meters with seabed level mark - minus 10 meters.
· Overall storage capacity of FSOs - 15 tonnes.
· Eight storage tanks of total capacity - 42 tonnes.
· Two-lane railway overpass for the 28 oil tank cars of simultaneous discharge.
Project phases
· 2012- 2015: Project development and appraisal at Glavgosexpertiza; the facility site preparation.
· 2H, 2015 – 1H, 2017: Construction and commissioning of the Terminal.
· As from 2017: Commencement of the Terminal operations (oil product transshipment).
Current developments
· Reclamation work permits obtained from the Federal Marine and River Transport Agency for creation of artificial territory in the water body.
· Site planning and boundary setting plans – approved. The Terminal development included in the territorial planning scheme of the Russian Federation.
· Rail transport specifications – available; overhaul of railways scheduled for completion by the end of 2015.
· Power supply specifications – available (power capacity at 3.4 mW).
· Project documentation successfully passed state expert examinations with positive opinion of the State environmental expert review and of GlavGosEkspertiza.
· Signing of reclamation contract, obtaining building permits scheduled for the end of 2015.
